'68 Shelby Mustang GT500
This is a restoration of a very old AMT kit built when I used to brush paint bodyshells and use lots of glue!
The first restoration photo in primer is shown with Fujimi 18" wheels that I cut in half and then glued the back of them to the front to create a deep dish version. The next photos show the car painted in metallic blue and with 15" Torque Thrust whels. I haven't decided which wheels to use yet but will probably go for the Torque Thrusts with the centres painted a fairly dark grey. The clear coat will be added when I have completed the white stripes. I have also removed the front bumper, the side vents (because two were missing and I think it looks quite nice without them) and will be making my own mesh grille.

Nice work, love that blue colour. Also like that clock you've got in the background, i've got the same one.
