2000 T/C A/C Problem

I'm no mechanic, but I am replacing my Accumulator and Compressor in my car. The question is How! There is one line on the accumulator that has this connection that I've never seen before. How do I remove that line. Its like a compression line with a ring over it. Also where is the Orvicus tube located? Any other guidence would be helpful.

Hi Paulie...
The job you're jumping into will require you to have a Service Manual. We all have at least one, which we post small sections from when that's helpful however, in order to post everything you'll need, it would take tons of time and effort, inevitably more than it would take for you to download the Factory Service Manual from fordcds.com

The best advice I can give at this juncture, get the FSM at fordcds.com. Also, if you find the download useful, make a donation to the service

Any other technical problems after your fully armed, hopefully someone here can assist
