where is the switch
On a 1st gen Trooper (1989), 2.6 with auto, where is the safety switch that keeps it from cranking in gear and what does it look like. Obviously I was spraying elec. contact cleaner on something else. Sometimes don't want to crank so I have to wiggle the auto shifter a few times b4 it will fire off!

Re: where is the switch
Unstake the lock washer. Remove the nut and bolts, and then remove the neutral start switch. Remove the lock washer and grommet. |
