Fitting Rear Lexus lights

Hi, ive just fitted some rear lexus lights to my mk2 peugeot 106 1996 P reg.

At the moment they are not working, the fact the lights dont come with rear lights doesnt help.

Basically i took out my old lights and matched the bulb placements in my old lights to the holes in the lexus lights and they had 1 light which was installed already and they came with 2 orange tinted bulbs which i fitted.

I plugged them in and they dont work, i tried the indicator it just clicked really fast and i looked at lights nothing was happening.

I took a look at the wiring looms and the wires dont seem to match up colour wise... like the red wire is all way on left instead of the right where the lexus red light wire goes in.

Any help would be great.
