Hello All!
So I was successful in programming 3 remotes on my 98 PA. However... Now the trunk open button on the remote does NOT work!! And neither does the button inside the car!! Anyone have any insight? Maybe to re-enable the trunk release via both methods (key FOB & Inside Release)?? Thanks! -Ram0135 |

Re: 98 Programming Disaster -- Trunk Problems
If it was just the remote, I would say to clean out the inside of the remote between the button pad and the circuit board. Occasionally they get some black gel looking junk in there that prevents the button from working correctly.
If your trunk release in the car is not working now either, I would start checking your fuse box with a tester...not just by sight. Probably a blown fuse in there somewhere.
