Trunk Release

I have a friend over who has managed to lock BOTH sets of keys in the trunk of his 87 Town Car. He says the glove compartment release only works when the key is on in the ignition and the glove box is locked, btw. Is there any other way to open the trunk? Maybe thru the back seat? Or a way to open the glove box?

Any help will be appreciated since Roadside Assistance will be hours from now!

We managed to disassemble the back seat and with the help of an extendable grabber retreived the keys.
