1999 YUKON clunks on take off

when you take off after a you stop it clunks. when i put in 4lo it makes a noise tring to engage. put back in 2hi same noise and take off still same. wondering if could be something in trans case? has 94,000 miles fluids are full. some help please

My gears in my diff were stripped and it would clunk from a takeoff.

Slip/Stick condition. Remove rear drive shaft and grease slip yoke with a good synthetic grease. My 99 was making a skwauk or chirp when taking off after a stop and I could feel a thud. 11mm wrench and it takes about 5 minutes.

It happened to be my u-joints, both front and rear. It would clunk when I place it intio gear from park to reverse, from reverse to forward. The last time was a constant whirling. That was rear end gears.
