oil

i have a 2006 kia .is it alright to use 20/w/50 castrol oil in it. thanks

Only if you live in a hot desert. Best is 5W-20 unless you live in a very, very cold place then 0W-20. I live way down in SC where it seldom frrezes and I'm using full synthetuic Valvoline 5W-30 because that's what was on sale.

5W-20 is becoming the norm for most Kias but temperatures need to be considered along with what your owners manual suggests.

Yup. Long as you stay away from a 10W-30 and keep the first number small you're good to go. One of the best synth blend is FordMotoCraft 5W-20 like they use in Cop cars and the way they abuse and engine it'll hold up under them then it should do fine for me putting around town.
