Idle level is too low (94 Prelude SI)
My car doesn't start sometimes because of it. The needle rests on zero and I have no idea how to adjust it because my car doesn't have a manual. Can someone help me out on this so I can drive, because it's Texas and it's already getting hot. It didn't start today.

Re: Idle level is too low (94 Prelude SI)
on your throttle body on the passenger side by ur intake there is a screw that goes into the throttle body horizontally. it is a regular screw driver. turn it counter clockwise a half turn and see wat it does. if its not enough turn it another half turn

Dude I had that shit like almost all the way out
And it still doesn't start. I put it back to about where it was. Any other suggestions?

Quote:
Up the timing. lossen the 3 10mm bolts on the dis. turn dis all the way twoard fire wall to up the timing. keep the wrench with you in the car. Test it goign down your street. If it knocks, rotate away from firewall at 1mm segments untill there isn't any pinging or knocking. also!!!!! try to use 90-93 octane. Reset the throttle though. Make sure to mark the original timing posistion on the distributor first though! |
