Opinions of optional hardtop for 330Ci?

Curious if anyone has experience with the removable aluminum hartop for the E46 convertible/ Does it improve much on: noise, safety, warmth etc.?
I live in KY where the winters aren't too bad, but I like the looks better than the ragtop, and maybe a few more creature comforts as well from Nov. - March?

It's very good. You'll almost mistake it for a coupe. It's that clean looking. The seal is excellent and it doesn't way all that much. I think it runs around 3,000 dollars though.

The tops on E46's are so well insulated and tight fitting and the chassis so stiff that the gains will be relatively small. You have to decide whether these incremental improvements are worth the hassels. You also lose the ability to drop the top on impulse, even when cold you would be suprised how much you can utilize it(especially if you have the Wind deflector).

they make the car look very nice!
and its better because if you leave your car parked in the street they can go and brake your soft top and steal your car but if you have a hard top they cant do nothing!
