When a girl wants a break.....(up)

reading all the posts and they all sound alike. Well, guys, I am a female and almost mid 40's I would like to comment about the confusion and heartbreak and maybe put some at ease. Men and women are alike, we all want to meet the right person. If a girl/guy is happy and content with the bullshit and the good times-GREAT, If not, one eye is looking for better, or maybe gets whacked over the head by someonelooking at them! Whatever, fact is if you are the dumped one and she still calls, texts, visits....she is unsure about leaving you and unsure about the other guy as well. That is it in a nutshell!You have two options....completely shut her off until she decides she wants you back and go on with your life or tell her you'll do the same and go out with friends and other girls...but be unreachable more than reachable, meaning if she tries calling you 3 times week only answer her once. That is the biggest way to get an "unsure" girl to get "sure"!! Example..."How come Johnny never answers my calls?" "Doesn't he think of me anymore?" "Am I losing him?"....Get the idea?

More seriously, I'm witheringly abrupt with women with princess complex, who play games and/or draw the emotional blackmail card or are high maintenance. Women who believe I should pick up the tab (and correspondingly decide to 'upgrade from their usual wine cooler to the dearest vintage on the menu' or decide on two desserts 'because they can't choose' in the belief that a gentleman will grimace and pay the tab will come crashing down to Earth pretty quickly...

If they want to break up then I'm honestly relieved to see the back of them - and if chicks think they can 'do and deserve better' - well go for it just don't come back if the grass isn't greener as I move on quickly...

There's a guy shortage out there and the sooner chicks figure demand outstrips supply then the better off everyone will be - provided of course they are rational, which can be a stretch at the best of times.

If I'm being sexist and offensive to you, well you have so much to learn...

I'm attracted to women with a princess complex, perhaps that is why I needed 2 jobs before meeting my wife... She isn't the "princess" spoiled type, and this is the only "long term" relationship I had in my life (hopefully my last!). Princesses are dangerous.

On another note..am I the only one that thought of the "Friends" episode when reading the subject of this thread.

That's cool Nicole - enjoy life. If you don't have something you enjoy this year, you'll just be a year older when you do. And it sounds as if you have your head screwed on the right way... somewhere, sometime you are destined to make someone happy.

I've had g/f's who ordered two desserts 'because they couldn't choose', picked at both of them and then declared they weren't really hungry and then looked horrified when I said that must be glad to have spent 34 of their own dollars on desserts that they didn't want...

It's almost as good as the girl who wanted to open a single Islay malt, single cask bottle of scotch of mine so she could try drinking whisky which she had said she really didn't like. "STEP AWAY FROM THE BOTTLE!!! RAISE YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR"

Some girls for whatever reason believe that they deserve the best and that the world is fated to hand it to them. I call it my "White Knight" theory - when you are next at the supermarket... watch how women will wait until all of the groceries have been scanned and bagged up before they will suddenly rifle thru their wallet for money or cards as if it is some sudden surprise that they have to actually pay... In contrast, guys will have their money or card in their hand to pay long before the last item is bagged...

Why? Because women have this innate and subconscious belief that someday a white knight will come up to them and sweep them off their feet while paying for their groceries. Reality bites when the white knight never does... but still they live in hope...

Or does my hypocrisy only go so far now?

on the subject of paying for meals, i'm more willing to pay for a meal if the girl doesn't want me to. i'm actually that way with alot of things, i'm alot more likely to give something to someone if they don't ask for it. also i feel like if I take a girl out, then i feel as though she wouldn't be paying money if i didn't ask her out, so why would i force her to pay up.

as for that whole break idea, i have yet to see a single relationship continue after a break. if a girl wants a break with you, just forget about her. if you want, you can still hang out with her or whatever but don't expect to get back together and live happily ever after because after you've had one break(up) you're alot more likely to have another in the near future.

Me and my now ex had a break before breaking up last year, the relationship was never the same afterwards. Wouldn't recommend taking someone back after a break.

As for the whole paying thing, my bf and I take turns paying for things. pretty much everything we either halve or take turns paying for. I'm not a fan of boys paying for me when I earn enough to pay for a meal. I don't understand how girls expect to get away with not paying for anything.

anyway, back to the subject. DON'T GO BACK AFTER A BREAK.
