New stuff... it's been a while
Haven't posted anything in quite some time. I took a little break from serious drawing but i just got back into it. This gave me alot of time to do marker and ballpoint pen sketches. Feel free to comment/criticize. Hope you like them!

cool stuff! I often do things like your ball pen sketches.. but never get to scan them. the aston on the 5th pic is my fav.

Great looking cars Alex. I used to do concept sketches when I was in school but that was decades ago. Your pen sketches of what appears to be an Astin Martin are extremely well handled. Your line work and shading have a very professional touch to them. I wish I had more time to do that type of work but I have too many other hobbies to attend to. I really enjoy looking at your work. Did you ever have any formal training for illustration and design or is it basically self taught?

George, I appreciate the comment! I have never taken any formal training in art outside of school. I've been involved in art during junior high, and now high school... that's about it. Alex

Alex, great to see some new stuff from you, and especially to see freehand work!
I really love the designs but out of these, the page with the Aston and the CGT is my favorite. Badass!! Keep it up! It's great art work you got there!
