Talking P11 G20 w/ QR25DE swap... @*#&!!!!

In what may be one of the wildest swaps ever, a friend of mine is working on a 2.5 L (2002 Sentra V-Spec) engine swap into a 1999 G20. This is no normal QR25, he has already fabricated a turbo manifold complete with a modified T04E Drag turbo w/ spearco intercooler and a massive 3 inch downpipe. He had to do some heavy modification to fit the 6 speed tranny. When we figure out all of the wiring, he will have the first ever G20 with a turbo 2.5. He estimates the combo will have at least 300 wheel hp. Hopefully this project will be complete by early 2002.
Estimated cost for all of this- $8500

Where did he get a QR25 from already? I'd like to come check it out. I'm not that far away (Toledo, OH).

So....

Where did he get this engine and gearbox since the 2002 SE-R Spec-V isn't even on the market yet and the Altimas just shipped this week?

More importantly - how did he figure out how to weld all the mounts required to get that thing in there?

He lives near Gary, IN. And I guess one of his dad's friends is an executive for Nissan in the sentra developement division, and he got hooked up with the engine at the end of june because they were in town for the Hot Import nights in Chicago. Mind you, the car has not ran yet, and we aren't sure if we can get the wiring to work. It has not been completely put into place, just temperarily to see if we can make it work. This is one big experiment and I hope it will work out for him. As for pics, I don't have any, maybe I can have him send me some. Also, I will soon post a few pics of my 92 G20 to see what you guys think of it. It does not even look like a G20 from the back view. You'll see the extreme body mods when I post the pics, hopefully some time this week.

Question

Dshaft, were you at the supershow at the lucas county rec center this past sunday? If you were, you would have seen my G20. I managed to pick up a third place in the import wild category. Also, a good import performance shop in the Toledo area is Defcon Motorsports, they can get almost anything for the SR20.
