Need help with BUMPSTOPS/shocks asap
Im took my old shocks and springs out and apart and now im putting htem back together.. I have two questions
1. are the bumpstops supposed to be moving freely like up and down the shaft or did i put them on past a point where they should sit? 2. When I tighten down the top nut to compress the spring, on one of the fronts it goes on a good inch and on the other front, only half an inch and then stops... I really need any info asap, my truck alternator died last night and my car has no wheels or suspension so...

Quote:
if it's stock set up then they should sit at the bottom, so that the shock is not compressed all the way i believe. and i really dont understand your snd question.
