ATTN JekylandHyde: Alignments

What kind of alignment does Hyde have? I know that you do straight line racing and racing that involves turns. I'm guessing that for drag racing you want zero camber, but for going around turns, a fair bit of camber helps. So what kind of alignment did you go with? Somewhere in the middle? Stock?

Re: ATTN JekylandHyde: Alignments

Seems like a rather randem question there clawhammer, unless you have a reason other than just curiosity...?

Would be good to find Hyde's alignments, though.

Re: ATTN JekylandHyde: Alignments

My car needs an alignment, and I'm trying to decide on what to go with, and I know that Jeff will be able to give some good advice.

That's true, he is able to give some great advice.
Only question is, where is Jeff?

I don't think he visits the forums everyday.

So you decided on a BMW? No muscle car? No S2000?

Yes, I've always liked the European car look, I love the muscle, love, love, love it, but I've been a BMW kind of guy for as long as I can remember (I'm from Europe originally, so maybe that has something to do with it.)
I just never really looked at the BMW's with any intent to buy one, because I was concerned about the parts cost, and back when I was looking for a car
there were'nt really any good deals on the coupe models.
I checked back with some dealerships a couple months ago to see what was new, and saw one standing there (2001 model 330Ci, with around 88,000 miles on it, for only around $19,000,) and that was basically the car that finally got me looking at BMWs.

Right now the money is looking O.K for me, so I can afford one, and I'm not too worried about the parts either, as long as nothing major breaks (God forbid.)
So yes, right now it's not a muscle car, not a S2000, it's a BMW that's got my attention...

By the way, I'm planning on getting the 330Ci first with the plan on upgrading to a E46 M3 later on (they are still a little out of the money range I'm trying to spend.)
But I think I'll start looking more into them a while after the E92 M3 comes out, because the prices on the E46s should drop then...

Cheers

Don't know the date, because the guy didn't respond if he was going to close our deal... So I don't know, but I hope it's soon...

You will never guess what I'm driving now, just to get around

Eh, it might be decent, but in the end it's still a Ford...
It's just a car I got to get me from point A to B, no future in it, never even crossed my mind to intend on keeping it.

The faster I get my BMW, the faster this Focus will be gone...
