First impresssions of 2003 4runner

Well, Muller Toyota in Clinton, NJ got the all new 2003 4Runner in and I must say it is NICE. I'm Bill Muller's son, Billy and I went with my brother to go see it. It is a very big improvement over the previous model. I had the chance of riding in it (I'm only 15, i get my permit in February) with the Sales Manager. It rides excellent, better than the old one and has a lot of room in the rear seats. The dash design and interior desgin is the coolest I have seen so far out of Toyota's models. THe new 4Runner has soo many new features. If you want a new SUV and for a mid sized one but realiable and good, then get this. You won't want anything else. If anyone lives in NJ and around or close to Clinton, check it out.

Where's the posts? This place is dead

I just got a Limited v8, loaded but no dvd/navigation.
it's sweet.
my fav features are the retractable rear window, steering wheel music controls, 6 cds in the dash, heated front seats and a hatchback that sucks itself in to lock (no need to slam it).
the x-reas is cool too, you can really tell around the corners.
cant wait to get off road. can already tell it'll move like a gem.
handles great up here in the snowy northeast roads.
quality and roominess for a 6'2" driver.
great big dunlop tires.
best part is... i never see any other 2003 4runners around!

i hate the look of the new runners. they are hidious. i say the best runners are the first generation with the removable top. i have one of those so i love those. they are alos what i consider the best for offroad cause the new ones are like street machines and thats not what they were first built for. the 85 is by far the best. it had the solid front axle and the efi 4 cylinder. mine is an 89 but i am looking into doing a sas as soon as possible. man i love it. later

Awesome Machine

I have a 2003 V8 Sport 4x4...Black. It is a great machine. The XREAS assists its handling so much that I feel as if I am in a sport sedan. Power delivery from the V8 is smooth, ever present and commanding. In black, this vehicle looks fast yet as powerful as my 1997 T100 4x4 SR5...also black.

As yet, I haven't tackled any off-road adventures...only about 2000 miles on it. Although it has less ground clearance than my T100, from the looks of the protection underneath and Toyota legendary off-road abilities, I feel confident I will have not troubles.

This vehicle is the affordable Ferrari of SUVs...and in a flash I can climb a mountain.
