Got a new one cause my old one drowned :/ haha. so anyway, the new one i got online came with directions for jumping the pins on the obd II and everything. the car acts as if its in programming mode, but doesn't respond after holding down the lock and unlock buttons for 30 seconds simultaniusly. and yes the remote has batteries lol. can someone please help me!? thanks guys!

wow im a dumbass...i've been workin all day thinkin "man i cant wait till i get home, cause i know someone must have an answer for my question." haha! then i come home to see this. lol.
so... 1995 PA Ultra The remote i bought is made by United Technologies Automotive Model/FCC ID: ABO 0303T Thanks again people. PS: I think as usual i must be doing one stupid little thing wrong...the only question in the back of my head is "do i really have to fuse the jumper wire" |

Nope, a paper clip is commonly used. Be sure to insert the ends of the jumper (paper clip) into the correct slots.
