Animation vs. Inanimation
Alright, so Wednesday afternoon, my good friend Rafael and the rest of our cross-country team were playing capture the flag in Lincoln Park. Someone is chasing Raf, so he is obviously looking over his shoulder, keeping an eye on the chaser.
My good friend Rafael, really smart, witty guy, always there to chill with... runs into a tree. A tree. Yea...a tree. I feel pretty bad for him, his entire face is pretty [messed] up, his knee is also [messed] and he can't run for the rest of our season. My dilemma here is this....The events of Wednesday afternoon were probably the most comical that I have witnessed in a while, in terms of slapstick life. I feel pretty bad, but is this not one of the funnier things that you have heard about recently? Suppose it's not a dilemma, but I wanted to share my story anyway. :hehehe:  Tough Choice.

So the biblical scholars mis-translated the Hebrew word for "young woman" into the Greek word for "virgin," which was a pretty easy mistake to make, since there is only a subtle difference in the spelling. But back then it was the "virgin" that caught people's attention. It's not every day a virgin conceives and bears a son. It's always (often, anyway) funny when someone else gets hurt in a silly way like that. It's a funny thing though, the way it's never as humourous when it's us who run into the tree (or dirty great metal signpost pointing out the Emergency Department - speaking from experience :silly2: ) Definitely not funny; but if it had been someone else, then of course it would have been funny - specially cos it was the sign for ED

I can see your dilemma. It would have been pretty funny to see, but at the same time, the poor guy.
I also know a Raf that's a bit accident prone!
