60 Years of Ferrari - 312PB Late 72 Version Full Detail (1/43)
Phew, that was a long title for a thread. Hopefully it got you all interested though!
Here are a few poor quality photos of a Technomodel 312PB I've been building on and offer for about 6 months now. I have to say that this is the finest 1/43 kit I have ever come across, and i can;t recommend it enough. It's not for the novice, but it's no where near as daunting to build as you would think. The car is modelled as one of the cars that competed in the Watkins Glen 6 hour race in 72, driven by Brian Redman and 'Little' Art Mazzario two of my favourite drivers. The kit is so good that I plan to build one as the Targa winning car (when I have time and an empty workbench!). The model is almost done now, just need to finish the roll hoop and glue in the cooler that sits behind it. The body work isn't a perfect fit, but I display it open with the rear section on tressels so it's no biggy. Let me know what you think! ![]() ![]() ![]() And finally one with my 599 body to give some idea of the size of a 1/43 car ![]() By the way Tang, great job with the banner... how did you know I was doing the 'green' car? You psychic powers are scaring me now

Photos should now work. I'm still playing with how to link them from Fotki... I think I tried being too clever this time!!!

I'm a wizard John~
Your work looks awesome! That's indeed a great kit, very fine details on such a small thing. And I think that's huge fun playing with those tiny cars. |
