Re: smoked-HELP!

Based on my educated guess, even if you did somehow manage to turbo it or get enough mods on it to make more power, it would probably blow up because your driving it.

Read the FAQ and do a search for "420A mods".

Re: smoked-HELP!

Don't get high hopes to build some fast car out of an RS... The only way its gonna happen is if you completely build the motor to handle boost and turbocharge it. Your gonna end up having way more money in it than if you had just started with a GST or GSX model instead...

Re: smoked-HELP!

my suggestion is to hang out around this forum, ask all the questions you need to, you can learn a lot here ive only been here a few months and ive learned a lot about my motor and what it can and cant handle. (i had the same misconceptions about my car when i first came here). it is possible to build these motors up for some good hp but it will take a hell of a lot of money so if your gonna i hope you live at work.is this your first car? if so just take it easy get your driving down packed then go for a better car and more hp. the worst thing to do is build your 420a improperly and think you can blown any1. search the forums so you can find out all you need, then reconsider your choices of trying to make it into a beast. every one will answer you in a timely fashion so dont think were gonna mess with you about about asking a stupid question because if you asked its not stupid to you.

Welcome to AF!

Re: smoked-HELP!

This would also be a great time to emphasize that you should keep all racing to the tracks... Thats the kinda stuff that happens when you race on the streets...

so you go to I-71 and race your rs 420A eclipse after a possibly deadly wreck on the same road, in a faster car? wow! You are the definition of a bad driver, and shold only be allowed to drive a geo, if that. people like you are the reason why the rest of us (under 25) have to pay so much for insurance on our cars. racing on the streets IS NOT cool, it doesnt make you a "bad ass" its just dumb! grow up, before you end up dead.

Re: smoked-HELP!

Oh man, what a gem. Calm down erre'body.

Of course you got smoked, you have a 107 whp chrysler engine. If you need to go faster, you need to do research. Tech section here is a good place to start as is google. Honestly if you want to go fast you shouldnt be driving a RS. Street racing isnt a good thing, you should have learned your lesson with the first car... I can only hope you dont get your ass killed doing it more.
