B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L

I am so jealous bro... Welcome back, in a BIG way!
Sweet ride. Videos perhaps? I would love to hear that baby roar!

Oh, and I would guess the NSX is yours, but the R32 wouldn't be any worse to own!

Re: I've been gone for a long time, but this is what i've been working on ( new car )

thanks guys. yes the NSX is mine, and yes i would love to hear the car roar too, but its just too damn quiet!!! i can't hear a engine noise in that car at all. I put in a comptech uni filter in the air box to make it alittle louder, but i still don't hear anything from the engine.

the gear ratios in the car is crazy!! 1st takes you to 45mph, 2nd takes you to 85mph and 3rd takes you to just over 115mph. this is on a totally different level than my 240. it handles waaay better and it doesn't break your back doing it. the suspension is very very soft.

the car is a 94 in brooklands green with the black interior. 1 in 29 ever made. i got a awesome deal on this car, and it is sooo mint its not even funny. the car does not make a single rattle when i hit a bump. most people have no idea that this car is a 94, and when i filled up for the first time.. people already started having conversations with me.

even though i own this car, i am not a honda fan. i will always be a nissan guy at heart. I do plan on just keeping it N/A. i do miss the n/a sound esp with a quad cam v-tec engine singing at 8000rpm. the car is definitly not slow. 94's are known to trap 103-104mph range and with bolt ons should trap around 106-107mph. top speed when stock is 168mph which is plenty fast enough. after taking it out on the highway, i definitly believe the claim. this thing hauls after 100mph. i would be flooring in 3rd, when it goes into its powerband, at 105mph i'm not even near redline in 3rd!! and this thing just keeps pulling. very very impressive.

and best of all, ITS GOT A/C!!!! finally i have a car with A/C!!!

Re: I've been gone for a long time, but this is what i've been working on ( new car )

Wow, sweet ass ride. I believe that year had the 3.0 liter engine with 270hp. You can do a few mods to improve it's powerband pretty easy. I've also read that you can get a steeper set of gearing, to get out of the hole faster, though I dunno if that would be a good idea (Fuel mileage). I would definitely get a full exhaust for that car, and let it breathe a little better. Stock those cars are mid to high 13 sec. rides, and supposedly really easy to launch with.

I'm envious of your car. I really want a 3.2liter one, especially the Alex Zanardi edition. You must've paid big bucks for that car, cause the ones i've seen are over $30K for a 91+.

Re: I've been gone for a long time, but this is what i've been working on ( new car )

holy chits, i came back at the perfect time

damn Tat that NSX is fking beautiful

the owner of this store close by just got one(has a viper too) and I stopped by to take a look at it and they are amazing machines, they look so good up close. he has some deep dish rims on it, and it looks amazing

but congrats on the purchase, I'm sure the MR feels amazing to drive, and i never knew about those gear ratios, sounds like a blast to drive

and I guess I'll be the first to ask, what happened to the KA-T 240?? still have it or did you sell it??

Edit: just read 2000LS1's post and yea, I've seen early 90 ones still go for over 30K, but you said u got a good deal so maybe you got it in the 20's, but damn Im so jealous of you right now. id love to own a 3.2 with the flush headlights as a nice weekend car

Edit 2: just read Tat's post, thats a nice ass deal, maybe the color did have something to do with it, i dont see that many in that color, blue and yellow and red being some of the more popular colors and fetching a higher price

Re: I've been gone for a long time, but this is what i've been working on ( new car )

believe it or not, i got it for under 30K. i was very very lucky to find it for that price esp for the condition that its in. i think the color had something to do with it.

yeah i don't think i would give up the tall ass gears for shorter ones. i do plan on gettin an exhuast, headers, wheel spacers, and a 02 + rear valence.

with the bolt ons i should be hitting 270whp, i wish i got a 3.2 liter ones. those can make 300whp with bolt ons. and 300whp in a nsx is a mid 12 second car!!

i still have my 240sx. i'm daily driving that car for now. i just got hte clutch changed for it. i'm going to fix all the little problems with the car and sell it in as best of conditions as i can to recoup some money. the funny thing is, my 240 feels torquier off boost than the nsx does. hahaha

Yea, the prices on those around here are basically the same... You can't find one here for no less than $30k +... But since Tat said he's got a real nice deal on his, not knowing where he lives and who he bought it from, but looking at the condition I would have to say that you had to put out at least $40k for that baby... I could be way off though, just going by the prices around here for one in THAT condition...

i'm glad you think i'm that rich , even though i am doing quit well for myself, i'm not doing THAT well. lol I paid 28,500 for it. very very sweet deal. i put the money down as soon as i saw it in person. it was that good.

turbo2nr will be filling in my shoes as the next KA-T S14 guy hahah. His car is going to have more potential than mine.

Wow, $28.5K for that car???!!!!! I just looked on Autotrader, and the 94's with high mileage are selling for well over $30K. You got a steal. How many miles are on it?

88K on it, but the leather is virtually new, the car makes no squeeks or rattles, still on the original clutch ( still grabs pretty decent ) originaly shocks and springs ( feels like new ). i'm the 3rd owner of this car. the previous owners must've babied the hell out of this thing. now i will break her in for real.
