Electric Supercharger
im lookin at a electonic supercharger. I want the power without having to do modifications to my engine like with an actual supercharger.
Does anyone have one of these, or know anythin about them. Heres the link to the website http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Super...spagenameZWDVW |

Re: Electric Supercharger
Since it's basically a CAI with a fan in it, the only gains would be from the K&N filter and CAI's theoretical increased air flow capacity. (and the "real world" gains of these mods are still in question as well). An electric fan with no wastegate does absolutely NOTHING for performance. The way that superchargers, turbo's and even ram air systems increase horsepower is by "pressurizing" the intake charge, not just pushing more air. The IAT mod the ad touts is BS too. It sends a signal to the PCM simulating cold air temps, causing the PCM to enrichen fuel. All that mod does is use more gas and fouls plugs sooner.

Re: Electric Supercharger
Looks like a boat engine compartment blower...I'd like to see it actually make 2psi under any condition. If you check his feedback, every single recent transaction has the auction number hid by the word "private".
