Re: truck wont start

I have an 04 and have the same problem. No fire and will not start. Was wondering if you have figured it out yet.

Re: truck wont start

don't know if you guys have fixed them yet, but my truck did something similar, just could not get it to crank, it turned over strong and all, but wouldnt start. fuel assembly was all good...ended up being a crank sensor back behind the engine that the dealership was able to eventually pinpoint

Re: truck wont start

Same problem. my 2002 chevy silverado died on the expressway yesterday. Solution- again, crankcase sensor. I don't have a codereader, but that should point to the culprit if you can get one. Truck was running fine before this. The shop charged roughly $100 for the diagnosis, another $130 for parts, and $130 for labor. The part only costs $50 at the auto parts store, but unfortunately, my wife had authorized the work. But, now I don't have to spend half of the weekend under the truck. (Optimistic coping response)
