wipers

when it snowed my winshield wiper froze to my winshield and my step dad made me turn it on and now my left winshield wiper wont move and the right one hits the left one i have no idea how to fix this

Your help will be appreciated

You need to tell us what year and model your Jetta is. If you are lucky, the wiper arm just came adrift of the wiper pivot. If so you would see the pivot shaft turning, after removing the wiper arm. In this case a new wiper arm would fix it. If not you would have to get to the bottom end of the wiper pivot - and see if it came disconnected from the actuator arm. Im not sure if this is under the dashboard or not.
So... you can start by buying the Bentley service manual for your car, and reading about removing the wiper mechanism.
