1991 sunbird not starting

This car ran fine untill a week ago and then it just died while I was at a stop light. Anyone have any ideas as to why this sunbird won't start?
I was told to replace the crank sensor so I did that and still nothing. I have checked for spark from the wires and there is no spark what so ever. The motor is a 3.1 liter
Anyways any ideas would be greatly appreceated.
