Question Engine Swap-98auto to a 95 manual?

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to put a motor from a 1998 Neon w/Auto trans,into a 1995 Neon w/Manual trans? and/or what would be needed? any Information You can give me will be more than I have now. Thank you

Yes it's possible. You will need the engine wiring harness for the 98 engine as well.

Are you swapping trannies as well or just the engine?

Thank you for the info. If you only knew the # of people/places ive called and nobody had the answer. thanks again.
As for the trannies, I'd planned on sticking with the manual

If you are swapping the 98 motor into the 95, then swap the engine haness as well and you will need a 97-99 manual PCM, either SOHC or DOHC depending on the engine.
