Relay For Life

I'm wondering if anyone out there has done a Relay For Life? If you don't know what it is then I'm guessing that you haven't.

I am the team captain of one yet have no clue what to do because I have never done one before. If anyone can give me some tips on what to expect or anything I'd greatly appreciate it.

Re: Relay For Life

i am doing it for the first time this year, as well. So far, all i've done is ask for donations. I know that if you go to your employer, many times they will "match" all donations you've raised, basically doubling your total donations.

Re: Relay For Life

Did it twice when I was in high school. It was the sametime as prom, so i didnt do it senior year. Fun time though for a good cause. Heat was killer though.

We walked around a huge track! There were also games, karaoke, and few other things. I was actually staff one year. THat was fun. We served drinks therefore free drinks for us! w00t!

Re: Relay For Life

I did it once in highschool. Was on a friday from 6 pm til 6 am the next day. I stayed all night, went home and got 3 1/2 hours of sleep before playing in a triple header for baseball.
