Help! Car Won't Start!!!

I went to the gas station last night because I was low on gas (just fumes) I pumped my gas and went to start the car and it would crank but not kick over and start. I did this a few times to no avail. I know it has to be a problem with my fuel but I was wondering if anyone might have some suggestions. Also the past 2 months it has been bogging down when driving and when at idle a handful of times the cars rpms would drop for a second and then recover. I don't know if these may be tell signs of a fuel issue?

IF you run it often below a 1/4 tank, your fuel pump is probably going/gone out. Fuel cools the pump, and running near empty overheats it. A fuel presure test would confirm.

Rough idling could also be just some simple tune up items... Dirty MAF, dirty IAC, dirty throttle body, vacumn leak, plugs, ignition wires, etc etc...

Re: Help! Car Won't Start!!!

It was my pump. I installed a new pump last night (very DIY). Problem solved. it almost feels like a new car because it accelerates alot better. I also got my fuel guage back as well thanks to the new float.
Thanks for replies
