question about gains
ok, i was asked a question yesterday that i could not give a good answer too. so here it is.
lets say you HU has 4 volts rca and your amp has a input level .2-4 volts now wouldn't you set that at 4

theoretically, yes. so the gain would be all the way down. but some preouts are overrated. you should set the gains with a dmm, or even better, with a scope to make sure they are set correctly.
