warmer weather came ,car stalls a few times

my 1993 berretta ran great all winter ,evan in -20 ,started with no problems ,now the warmer weather came today ,I noticed after leaving the house in the morning ,the idling would become rough while waiting at a light in drive with the brake on ,or also when backing the idling would become rough and fluctuate up and down until the needle would drop off and the car stalls .,it fires right back up again or if i rev the engine it would smoothen the idling again . I had the throttle body cleaned and checked ,hoping it was somthing there ,but no luck . when the car stalls the engine light does appear ...would the problem generate a code ?..and if so can i get answers for those codes here,and perhaps save 100 or more than if i take it to a dealer .
