The Trio

Hey,

NNL Mid-Atlantic is coming up, May 12th to be exact. These are the builds i plan to finish by then. FYI, MAMA, the host of NNL Mid-Atlantic is my regional club. I hate doing WIP's so here are the kits im working on. WIP's slow me down so i will post progress when i can. For now, here are the entries.

Re: The Trio

The M3 is Speedline, the A4 is Quikskins. Virtually the same company, engineering etc... Kits are both relatively simple and not very detailed. And reference material is very hard to come by online. But when completed they look very nice in the display case. Quality resin casting with little cleaning needed. Very pleasing end results considering the low prices (for resin kits) they carry, around $80. M3 comes with decals to do 5 other Red Bull cars as well, Ferraris, Porsches etc.... nice bonus. Good starters for people new to resin kits. A+

Yeah what happened to the "other" trio anyhow???

if you mean TT the responsability is only mine : my stuff is the late one.

Looking good. the 1:1 Audi race A4 lives accross the road from my dad's old office in a dealership. it's a sweet car.

Re: The Trio

Nice progress, is the audi still around or did they stop production on it? I haven't seen it anywhere. Keep us posted!

Its out of production and i believe Kevin (Strada) is out of them. I havent checked with Ed at Island Collectables. I actually really want another on to do an SCCA car with. Im sure you can find one some where, just need to search some unconventional routes.

Thanks for the comments guys. Ive got most of the chassis' done, ill take pics when i can.
