87 Chrysler 5th Avenue (backfire)

I am not sure if this is even in the right forum. I have this friend tht has a 87 Chrysler 5th Avenue. She says it stalls and back fires when she takes off from a stop. She say they tried to replace the computer before and the car would not run at all... Can anyone give me a little advice on where to maybe start troubleshooting.

get some1 to chech the timing ? or it could b the distributer cap might b cracked hope this helps
