Re: what kind of bov?

Two good BOV's. I would get either of them, IIRC both can be recirculated as well. If you have a 2g and you are going to keep to like 20 psi, I would suggest a 1g BOV, that will do fine for 20 psi or less. *cough couch* I have one I could sell you *cough cough*...

remember not to vent the BOV to atmosphere unless you have the proper mods

Re: what kind of bov?

ok.. i am not sure what the whole venting thing does, but the guy that had it before me put some crappy bov on it... and i was wanting one that will actually work and not leak.. and look cool.. should i get the recirculation kit to go with them?

What one would bolt on to a 1g dsm?

Re: what kind of bov?

I would say it really depends on what your goals are with the car.

If you plan on sticking with the stock turbo than go with a stock 1g bov. Thor said the 1g bov can hold about 20psi, but really it can only hold about 18psi and be reliable and leak free.

If you plan on going anything other than stock, I would suggest one of the two companies you mentioned above as either are great choices.

Re: what kind of bov?

I donno why everyone blows the whole atmosphere venting thing out of proportion like they do... I had mine vented atmosphere without the proper mods and I ran into no problems whatsoever.
