Leading up to nitrous

I haven't decided on this for sure yet, but it's a possability. I'm gonna be getting about a grand and I've always wanted to use some type of forced induction on my car. Doing the TT conversion is a little too pricey so I've decided on nitrous. I just wanted to know other than an upgraded turbo fuel pump and maybe some larger injectors and high flow filter, what other upgrades would or should I do to make the most efficient nitrous setup?

Re: Leading up to nitrous

really depends on the setup. You planning on a 50-shot? 200-shot?...

Re: Leading up to nitrous

Well to be honest, I'm still learning. I was looking anywhere from 70 to 130 shot. I see in various descriptions sometimes they say anywhere from 75-135hp. Is this just the type of kit you buy or can you actually adjust the boost levels of the nitrous? I'm looking for wet most likely to get the most out of my dollar, so I wasn't sure what upgrades that would include.

Re: Leading up to nitrous

i dont know that much about N2O, but i think the power boost you get depends on the nozzle size and tank PSI.

Re: Leading up to nitrous

Might wanna talk to Terry at Maximal Performance, he runs nitrous on his NA...right? I think he holds the NA records, so obviously he is doing something right.

He'd probably be able to tell you a lot of stuff from personal experience.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
