Overrinding Automatic Lights
Does anyone know how to override the headlights. I would like to drive without them on during the day but they stay on automatically. Let me know, I head there is a sensor under the hood that works the lights.

Re: Overrinding Automatic Lights
It helps to know what year you are talking about,
because every one is different. Try www.lightsout.org or this thread for the 99-00 models. 99+ Headlamp Removal/Replacement and Welcome to AF!

Re: Overrinding Automatic Lights
Any way to turn the 2001 GAGT DRL's off? They drive me nuts makes my smoked headlight covers unnoticable when I'm driving during the day.(of course, I take them off at night!)

Re: Overrinding Automatic Lights
that ligthsout.org is the only place I know of with DRL disable info.
Should have the 2001 GA listed.

Re: Overrinding Automatic Lights
Some models you can just remove the DRL relay ,
but sometimes you will have to deal with a warning light on(ses, svs).
