Question Ignitor Module

My car dies everytime it hits 3500 rmps or sits there and idols for longer than 1 min. I was told it could be my ignitor module, does anyone know where this is located and how easy it is to install.

if its the ignitor then the best way to fix it would be to do an hei mod to the distributer http://forums.probetalk.com/showthread.php?t=1701081990 this tells you how
