Unhappy Cd player/ subs problem (first timer)

I have 2 MTX 12" subs with a 250 watt Amp (RT251D) with a Sony Xplod cd player and 4 6 1/2" speakers in a 2000 Saturn SL2. I got them all installed at Best Buy (Not very adventuresome with the electronics for myself) the Subs and Amp are working when the radio is on but when I put a cd in I get nothing! can anyone help me??? please?

Re: Cd player/ subs problem (first timer)

Idiots didn't hook it up right , take it back up there and tell them that they used the AM/FM antenna wire for the remote wire to the AMP, they should half way know what you are talking about...might take them an hour or so to fix it though, or you could just crack the radio off and look for the antenna wire and do some splicing yourself.

I expect a beginner DIY'er to do something like that, but not a shop ...... the shop manager should check to make sure the system works before the car is given back to the customer.

Re: Cd player/ subs problem (first timer)

that rule applys to every place but circuit city and best buy

new thing try going back to best buy and tell them to use the remote turn not the power antenna cause in 2000 they changed the interior.

on a saturn forum though that i went on said that you just pull outwards and it will pop off.
