Re: idle question

idle air controller. Search on Stealth316.com and it has good directions for taking it out and cleaning it.

Re: idle question

also search this forum, as this question has been asked several times before.

there is a motor on the throttle body that lets air bypass the throttle body to control the idle under different conditions. this motor is called the IAC aka ISC (idle air controller/idle stepper controller).

could be a LOT of things, but IAC is the main thing. as i said, do a search and you'll find out what else it could be.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
