93 Ranger wont start
![]() I have a 93 ford ranger that will not start. It all started where sometimes it wouldn't crank at all about a week ago without a jump start. I had the alternator and battery checked and both were good. I replaced the battery cables also, along with putting an alternator in today anyway. The truck will run after a jump start but will not start again when I turn it off. Don't now what else to do.....Help ??????? |

Re: 93 Ranger wont start
When you jump start does the engine turn over quick and fires right away? How much voltage do you get with the vehicle stopped as opposed to when its running. You should have arounfd 11-12 volts on open circuit and about 13= volts with the engine running. I know you said your battery tested good but it still points out to the battery"s state of charge and capacity.
