Question Correcting shot video angle?

Last night after I washed my car I told my roommate to video me driving off and then making a pass. Well he recorded the video in such a manner that the video came out sideways instead of the correct view.

It's a .mov (quicktime) format, Kodak camera. Are there any free encoders, or anything I can download so I can flip the video the correct way? The only way in quicktime is to have Pro.... And the video won't play in divx player for some reason.

You can send me the .mov file and I can put it in Adobe Premiere and format it for you, and make it righside up ..o.ther than that, I don't know of any encoders etc.

Re: Correcting shot video angle?

I have all the disks of video editing software that came with my ATI 8500 All-In-Wonder video card I bought several years ago. Would that probably have the capability to do this you think?

Otherwise, jtvyper456, I'll send it to you. Thanks for offering to help me out. i appreciate it.

Re: Correcting shot video angle?

Depends on what software it is, what software does the CD contain? Just drop me a IM, it's usually up all night/all day, I'll get it and add you if I'm not around.

Couldn't tell you what the software it is. I'm gonna be stopping by my parents house this Saturday so I'm gonna pick it up and install it just for the hell of it....maybe.
