L67 Build

Well, i may be new to this forum, but i am on 3 others and figured what's one more? I've had my GTP over a year now and been slowly modding it, unfortunately it has quite a few km's on it, so i bought a low km engine for it that i am currently in the progress of building. I have begun porting the supercharger and LIM, next to be done is the heads and throttle body. I'll update the pics as i finish working on parts. Unfortunately, the last couple weeks of college is quite busy, so i have less time to work. I still plan on dropping this engine in by early summer though at the latest. I have an XP cam and a few other things here that will be going into it. Should be a great build. I thought this would make an interesting first post

Welcome to AF!!

I looked at the pictures of your new engine from the link. Keep them coming since they will let everyone who may want to tackle this project themselves just what is involved.

Re: L67 Build

I'm planning on eventually making a 'How To' from start to finish with the pics. I will cover disassembly, porting/polishing + other custom work like cam/double roller/valve spring install, reassembly and finally motor swap. It will be a fun build, and the car should be way faster in the end. I can't wait, but patience is the most important aspect of port/polish work.

Thanks for the welcome, i frequent GTPWorld, Ontario/Quebec Club GP and ClubGP, all great forums as well. I hope to use my knowledge of GP's to help out anyone on this board as well.
