few questions
i just got my 92 3000gt vr4 on the road the other day and it runs great pulls strong and is a blast to drive (beat that wrx by the way) but i have a few questions. the first one is on the parkway and sometimes when hitting the breaks hard the stearing wheel will jump around a bit and i dont know if thats common or something like ball joints. the second is when i let off the gas and hit it again i here i thump in the back, i think its the posi but i could be wrong? and the 3rd does this car pull around the road alot cause of the wider tires? like occationaly it pulls left and ocationaly right and ocationaly it goes straight. and i think thats all. but i got to say its one of the fastest cars (stock) that ive driven and its a blast

1. Your first problem could be something in the steering but it might be something as simple as your brakes. Your front rotors could be warped and this could only happen if there were improper torque distribution across the lug nuts. It can also be caused by material build up on the rotors which is usually caused by improper break in when changing the brakes. Either of these will cause pedal pulse. If your wheel is jumping around because of one of these then it is pretty bad and you better fix it quick. The brakes are the first place I would look since it is very easy to check. Just take one of your front rotors to Checker, AutoZone, or any parts store and have them put it on their lathe. That can tell them if that is causing your problem. You can have the rotor turned but I suggest replacing them. Rotors are cheap. If the rotors are straight then I would suspect your ball joints.
2. That is normal, don't worry about it. Any vehicle I have ever ridden in with a rear gearbox has done that. 3. This can be caused by uneven wear on your tires. The only way to fix that is replace your tires. I would start by checking your air pressure and make sure it is correct. Improperly inflated tires can pull. A good tire pressure is 31 in the front and 29 in the rear. Another thing that can cause that is tires that are too wide for the wheel. A more serious cause would be a bent unibody or even a problem in the steering.

when u have the car in the driveway or at a mall, where u can park it, turn the wheels to the left, get out and check to see if the inside of the tire is weraing more than the inside of the other tire. then it just needs an alignment. my stealth needs it too.
as for the other things idk,

my car was making a similar thumping sound...turned out my carrier bearings in the driveshaft were shot. Easy enough to check for. Just get under the car and push up on the driveshaft. If it moves in the carrier bearing more than 1/4 inch or so that might be the culprit.
