Will a wind deflector reduce bug splatter?
I've just recently started driving my 96 Explorer to work, 90 mile round trip with some 80 MPH interstate time. My windshield is a Georgia Backwoods bug massacre! I have to scrape the guts off every couple of day if I want to see. I have been wondering if one of those smoked acrylic deflectors would lessen the problem? A lot of Explorers and Expeditions have them standard. If anyone has added one of these and seen a difference I'd love to hear about it before I shell out the $$$.
Thanks! Bam |

They do help some. Also rain-x on the windshield will lessen the stick on impact thing.
