Re: PICS of my car

Whoa then i think there is defenitly something wrong because you say you are all city driving and get 30. I do about 1/4 of city and the rest all highway driving and i still get about 23mpg at most.

Man, with gas prices so high in california this car doesnt seem to be that economical. LOL.

Re: PICS of my car

Car looks very good...

On this last tank of gas I got 38mpg. Thats in a CRX Si with a Civic DX transmission though.

You should still be getting much better milage than you are though... clean your air filter, change your fuel filter, run 93 octane Chevron or Exxon for a week or two (good gas does actually clean your engine out and help it run better), and make sure your ignition timing is in spec.

Re: PICS of my car

Your big heavy rims may contribute to lower mpg if you launch hard or ride the clutch. Improper tire pressure is usually a big one too. GL

Re: PICS of my car

well the tune up was done anout a month ago and it was a big tune up, all filters, spark plugs, wires and a bunch of other stuff. helped but not much. i know the rims dont help at all but i dint notice any difference between these and my stock ones.

Like Killa said i will play around with the timing. And also i will check the whole exhaust because the car feels like there is some restriction. I cant rev this car very fast i can actually count 2 seconds till it reaches redline, but i figure this is because of the dpfi.
