EK HB...K20 Turbo swap, first K-swap, more to come...

Well I have been motivated quite a bit latley so I have actually been making progress on this kit I started over a year ago. These are pics I took a few months back so I wanted to post these first because I have done a good bit more work since this.

The plan was an OEM looking body painted silver w/ a few CF pieces, K20 swap and some nice wheels but it is looking a little more aggressive than I intended (you'll see what I mean in the pics I post soon), I guess that usually happens w/ builds anyway anyway. The motor and turbo was just mocked up here but I decided that I did not like this turbo manifold setup so I built another, which I'll show soon. Well here are the first pics, it should be coming together soon but only time will tell for sure

Looks really good. I started mine as well, but your idea is way carzy! Nice looking bay you got going there. Is the intake manifold scratch built? I think I see some styrene rods in there! Nice build up!

Thanks man, I am definetely known around here for building hondas The filter came with the RSX kit so I just used it here but now that setup is no more cause I really liked this one more, not to mention it worked out alot better.

This is NOT the final coat in the bay, I still have alot of smoothing to do.

I am very happy with the turbo setup now all though I do plan on moving the turbo over a little towards the valve cover, I just need to cut and shorten the header. I think it will just fit better over all this way.

The body got alot more work than expected, I made the sideskirts a bit wider so they bring the body closer to the ground w/o looking like a crazy body kit, I wanted a more aggressive stock look. the same applies to the lip I made, I just wanted to bring the front end down some, the stock size of the lip and sideskirts are just too small IMO.

Now that I've taken these photos I will get some more progress done and post up again soon (I hope).
