Re: Pcm Or Not

there are a bunch of sensors that if broken will not alow spark or fuel. the pcms rarely go bad. is there a CEL?
so you hear the pump turn on when the key is on acc, you have fuel going to the rails, but the injectors are not spraying? could be CKP sensor. coil pack all good? is the starter turning just the engine will not turn?

Re: Pcm Or Not

thank you guys for the quick respond.
CEL means the battery? right, yeah i hear the pump work and i checked the fuel pressure its bursting with gas. the fuel pump had been changed year ago allways fill up the fuel tank so its never on E.
The injectors dont spray, whats the CKP sensor. the coil pack is brand new with the coil medual. the starter is turning.

there is no 12v to the injectors, all fuses are good.
i change the crank senser fuil filter ignition coil and modual. and the camshaft senser.

P.S. this is my friends car and he asked me to look at it, the only think i figure is that if there is no spark and no 12v going to the injectors, im thinking it could be the PCM.

Re: Pcm Or Not

There is a 10a fuse that feeds the injectors find this confirm it is good look for a problem with the pink wire form the fuse block to the injectors. CEL does not mean battery, it is the the check engine lite for the pcm. Due respect here, based on the nature of your questions, you may need on site professional help with this.

Re: Pcm Or Not

7 HOURS of work today and it was nice spring in chicago. it paid off. yas i had power going to everything the pink wire to the pcm and the ignition the alarm was working, passkey2 modual was good, cam shaft sensor changed crankshaft sensor changeg and the ignition modual changed.
but the problem was just a water cooling temp sensor. the sensor went out to a point to give the pcm wrong signal,(at all time) and just shut off the ignition and the injectors. when i try to start it. its like the sensor was giving the pcm allways a overheated engine signal.
but when we unplug the coolent sensor the car started.
