installing cd payer in ford ranger

i have a 93 ford ranger and i can't find the memory wire to save my life... i have red yellow three different orange, red and black, two different blues, i have wires every durn were.... some one please help me, if i wire the cd player to the solid orange wire it works, but kills when i turn on or off the lights for a second, its memory kicks in if the lights are on, i'm assuming that's the illuminations wire....but no other combo seems to work, i've tested the wires with a tester and no voltage shows on n e of them.... help help.....

I always Buy the adapter at walmart for $10 that plugs into the old harness then all the wires are labled for you .
