where do the wires run to from the starter relay? Also where do you find the security under the hood?

There are two circuits involved.

The 1st circuit energizes the relay by sending power from Fuse#1 to the starter relay. The Vats module completes the circuit by grounding the relay.

The 2nd circuit gets power from the ignition switch when turned to the start position. The power goes through the energized starter relay to the Park/neutral switch & then to the starter solenoid.
