lights?!

97 camaro, i hate how the lights go on automatically. what can i do to kill it? i know if i take apart the dash i can get rid of the sensor.. but how about something non-ionvasive. is there like a relay i can disconnect? a fuse i can pull out?! i hate not being able to turn off the lights (to run from cops jk, more like to turn off my lights in parking lots..)

anyone else hate how GM did that? i know the Chevy pickups, like the xtreme have a override switch.. how come camaros dont?

Re: lights?!

Are you talking about the DRL's? If so, I heard if you lift the e-brake up one notch, it'll turn them off. Not sure if it's true, I don't have DRL's, so I have no way of testing it.

Re: lights?!

btw,its not for DRLS. its just..real headlights. mine are automatic. when it gets dark, they automatically turn on. its real annoying. i have a switch that i can turn em on manually but i cant turn em off manually (unless i turn off the engine)
