Not AT ALL McLaren - but you will like this rare (in)sight!

Okay, I thought of PM's this to the individual 'key' members of the forum, however I thought I may as well post it on the forum ...

2 Koenigseggggggggggggggggggggggs (= No taste?!), a Porsche Carrera GT ( That he's NEVER driven?!), a Pagini Zonda F, etc., etc., etc. etc., etc., etc.etc., etc., etc.etc., etc., etc.etc., etc., etc.and, apparently not an F1 in sight? This guy is either a mental speculator or just MENTAL!

^^I thought Gustav had made another 'guest' appearance....

You're right, not even the most tenuous of links to the F1, a nice Video though of a pretty special car collection however in the F1 forum? not for long, I bet.....

By that token, maybe recent discussions over the aquisition of a fellow member's Veyron ought therefore be consigned to the Bugatti forum ...

At the end of the day, we are all supercar fanatics, most other forums on AF are very inactive. I believed, perhaps wrongly, that we could share information and insight into the genre a wee bit here without it necessarily 'tainting' the purity or core values of this particular forum.

....but the Veyron is going to be owned by Mr B, who also owns #16R, and owned the yellow XJ220S also appearing in its own thread on the F1 forum. I'm as much a supercar fan as the next bloke, but I use other forums to show my interest (SCF.com. SCnet etc).....

Yet as I said, its a nice Video though of a pretty special car collection.! Shame its missing the best of them though

Re: Not AT ALL McLaren - but you will like this rare (in)sight!

I actually liked the guy in the 1st video. Seems to own things he is passionate about. I was a little confused on the Carrera GT he hadn't driven, but I am sure he's just a busy guy.

Anyway, hurst is correct. We have to keep the focus of this forum on the F1 as much as possible. While some discussions may stray this way or that from time to time, having a thread that bears no direct or indirect connection to the F1 is not the course we want to head in. It opens things up for many more to clutter this forum in the future and while most of us are interested in other forms of supercars, there are better places to go for those discussions.

I'm going to close this here, but if you'd prefer I could move it to the Koenigsegg forum if you like. Just shoot me a PM and let me know Murray.
